Joel Barroso Aka Vérticepsy was born in Porto, is a DarkPsy/Forest DJ and producer. At the age of 38, Joel found his passion for electronic music at an early age and has dedicated himself to honing his musical skills over the years. His journey into the music scene began as an enthusiast, attending Psytrance parties and festivals, where he found himself deeply inspired by the genre's captivating rhythms and mesmerizing atmospheres. This experience sparked Joel's desire to create his own music and share it with the world. Determined to turn his passion into a solid career, his Vértice project plunged him into the world of music production. He devoted countless hours to studying music theory, mixing techniques and exploring various production tools and software. With constantly evolving skills, Verticepsy began to create his own original tracks, composing unique and powerful soundscapes. His music stands out for its combination of pulsating beats and hypnotic bass lines, transporting listeners on a unique psychedelic journey. Vértice is a creative force within the Psytrance scene, leaving his indelible mark on the genre with his authentic music and energetic performances. |
